Encounter the many kinds of meditation practice - from the gentle coming to presence of the Buddhist, to the ecstatic focus of the Sufi whirler, to the attentive quiet of Christian centering prayer - in this second yearlong series of free discussions and demonstrations, sponsored with The Rothko Chapel, The Jung Center, and Ligmincha Texas Institute. Once every month for a year at the Rothko Chapel, teachers from twelve different religious faiths will share their contemplative traditions with participants. Each presentation will offer participants the chance to learn about a different tradition, observe it and, in many cases, participate in the meditative practice. In the second installment of this popular series, monthly presentations will be held at both The Rothko Chapel and Methodist Hospital's Weiss Memorial Chapel.
